Clearsense was recently featured in Becker's Healthcare, examining the growing urgency and persistent execution gap around application rationalization among health system CIOs.

The coverage highlighted survey findings from Clearsense and College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME), revealing a clear disconnect between recognition and execution:

  2. More than a third of CIOs say application optimization is a major driver of cost savings.
  3. 40% review their application portfolio for consolidation only “as needed.”
  4. Governance is often informal, with decisions driven largely by IT leadership.
