As one of the hot topics from HIMSS18, the use of data to improve health outcomes is an essential goal of Meharry Medical College.

The Data Science Center provides a platform for Meharry to lead in significant data analysis, with the long-term goal of addressing health equity. The center will focus on teaching, research, support of clinical operations and public health. Additionally, the center permits the creation of a data ecosystem, providing the ability to design scholarly initiatives on health and education.
