
Clearsense®, a technology company that partners with healthcare organizations to increase value, governance, and transparency out of their data, announced the hire of a brand-new Chief Technology Officer (CTO,) Randy Fusco.
“Randy brings over 20 years of healthcare, product, and technology experience to the table,” shared Clearsense Chief Executive Officer Gene Scheurer. “He will immeasurably impact our leadership and company as a whole.”
Starting his career in the U.S. Air Force as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and medical specialist supporting numerous clinical services, including surgical units and ICUs, Fusco understands the industry from the inside out.
Offering a unique blend of healthcare experience coupled with direct patient care, business acumen, and technical depth and understanding, Fusco is uniquely positioned to elevate Clearsense’s offerings and book of business into 2023 and beyond.
Previously serving as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Baylor Scott & White Health, Microsoft Health/Life Sciences, and TEKsystems Healthcare Services & Solutions, Fusco’s strategic leadership has left a welcome imprint on the healthcare industry. As SVP of Product Engineering for Change Healthcare, he managed a global team of 150+ and a portfolio of $900M. Fusco has a respected background and a passion for building the future of healthcare data and analytics that looks forward with promise.
With experience leading teams in sales, consulting, software engineering, product development, operations, and data management, ranging from sales, consulting, software engineering, product development, and data management, Fusco expertly combines a patient-centered approach with data management and healthcare interoperability.
