The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible to maintain, monitor, and support the Clearsense IT infrastructure environment while meeting industry security compliance requirements to provide secure and high availability and performance computing environment. The Infrastructure Engineer will also deploy and maintain existing technologies as well as recommend, install, configure, and perform testing on upcoming infrastructure initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall system health to deliver secure, high availability, and performance system to end users.
  • Develop a resilient infrastructure to reduce failures
  • Responsible for day-to-day system administration tasks, including management and monitoring of servers, network, MS Active Directory, SAN, VPN, backups, patches, hot fixes, and necessary system preventive measures are in place
  • Support Windows and Linux operating system management and management tools
  • Understand and support PKI
  • Ensure compliance with industry security requirements and best practices on implementing an infrastructure solution
  • Provide support and administration to physical, virtual, and cloud environments
  • Participate in the formulation and implementation of company business system architecture plans, assessing cost and feasibility of system requests and ensuring the plan supports both strategic and near-term needs.
  • Review and assess system performance reports, evaluate technologies, proactively make recommendation for changes/enhancements/upgrades for improved systems availability, reliability, and performance
  • Support a mix of third-party vendors, consultants, and contractors related to the Clearsense infrastructure
  • Understand the current and future capabilities of Information Technology. Uses this knowledge to support the business in achieving its short and long-term goals.
  • Generate and validate IT system baselines, including validation of documentation
  • Monitor production, outputs, and services to ensure that SLA and other quality metrics are being met, assisted in define SLA
  • Work with business owners to understand business requirements, participate in meetings as needed, and respond to inquiry in a timely manner. Communicate events to stakeholders, IT team, and leadership
  • Act as the technical liaison between IT and vendor providing critical operational insight for upcoming projects; coordinate with and support vendor project team during implementation
  • Manage software licenses and maintenance renewal with vendor
  • Ensure compliance with corporate guideline on incident, problem, and change management processes


  • Bachelor’s degree or technical institute degree/certificate or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of experience in technology landscape and vendor/service provider landscape related to public cloud (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services) as well as traditional IT technologies (Network, Storage, Server, Security & Data Center)
  • Experience in Window and Linux OS with an emphasis on patching and security
  • Good understanding of and administered IT hardware, network, security, data protection, system monitoring, cloud, Big Data (Hadoop), mobile technology, equipment, providers, and technologies
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills, self-starter with little supervision, able to identify improvement opportunity, propose and implement solution, effective and efficient in time management, proactive team player, result driven, customer service attitude
  • Participating in projects and support during early morning, evening, and weekend hours as needed
