The Clearsense QA Analyst is responsible for ensuring that Clearsense applications and software solutions are tested thoroughly and working properly and that potential bugs are identified, documented, and resolved prior to delivery to clients. He/She uses a blend of critical thinking and problem solving combined with technical knowledge and excellent oral and written communication skills to lead QA efforts across the company’s portfolio of products.

This professional collaborates daily with Product Owners and Developers to ensure high-quality deliverables through the development of test plans, execution of test cases, documentation of testing and validation results, and reporting and tracking of software defects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading QA efforts at Clearsense by developing, documenting, and maintaining software test plans, test data, and data validation
  • Creating, executing, and evaluating manual or automated test cases to make sure objectives are met
  • Writing clear and concise bug reports
  • Reporting test results and facilitating test plan/case reviews with Product Owners and Developers/Engineers
  • Ensuring that all applications/software solutions are tested and that any potential bugs are identified and fixed prior to delivery to the client
  • Assisting customer delivery team with escalated support tickets as well as product/application installation, usage, training, access, and implementation
  • Quickly answering product/application questions when they arise; working with the team to validate work results
  • Reporting issues and concerns to supervisor(s)


  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in related field or equivalent, plus two or more years related experience in a QA environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Background in quality assurance, manual testing, automation testing and industry reporting standards is necessary.
  • Should be highly knowledgeable about QA principles and procedures and able to define, develop and maintain test automation with a variety of testing tools
  • Proficient with ticketing and documentation systems (i.e., JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Comfort with technical troubleshooting and application support using internal tools and a passion to resolve issues and create efficiencies & streamlined workflows
