The Clearsense Product Owner is a key member of the team responsible for providing direction and streamlining the execution of product and client delivery initiatives through strong collaboration with stakeholders. He/She uses a blend of business and marketing talent combined with technical knowledge to serve as the main point of contact for product development, facilitating decision-making on products/changes to be developed or delivered, and responsible for effectively gathering input from and managing expectations of primary stakeholders throughout the delivery process. By developing strong relationships with technology and business stakeholders, the Product Owner ensures timely and effective delivery of products and product enhancements to market.

This Product Owner collaborates daily with both technical staff, business teams, and sales professionals; he/she has the capacity to both see and share the big picture in terms of the product life cycle. They work closely with Client Delivery and Product Leadership to prioritize and manage the requirements backlog and collaborates with project managers in creating work plans and supporting project initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serves as a primary contact between internal/external stakeholders and development team to continuously identify opportunities for product development, improvements, and enhancements
  • Ensures teams are focused on delivery work and/or features that provide the most value to clients and stakeholders through continual prioritization of user stories, tasks & requests, backlog grooming and sprint planning
  • Reviews market research to anticipate competitive and industry trends and translates consumer attitudes and feedback into new and innovative product directions.
  • Coordinates with sales, client delivery teams, and software engineers to meet strategic objectives and add value across the portfolio of products.
  • Consults with stakeholders and development teams on market requirements and product features. 
  • Leads user acceptance testing and participate in functional testing as needed; works collaboratively with the Quality Assurance Specialist to create Test/Use Cases; quickly answers questions when they arise, and works with the team to validate work results
  • Leads in preparing product delivery release documentation as part of the change management process
  • Reports progress on delivery and/or development initiatives to identify internal/external stakeholders
  • Works with or coordinates access to the development team for story clarification
  • Offers guidance to the team during design and configuration, technical research, and a thorough testing phase to ensure user needs are met


  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in related field or equivalent, plus five or more years related product development/product management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
