Information Security Engineer

Location: Jacksonville, FL

POSITION SUMMARY

Information Security Engineer

The Information Security Engineer will be responsible for analysis, design and support for the Enterprise Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) application and infrastructure. Perform and deliver written and verbal technical security risk assessments using various frameworks to assist Clearsense and its clients in mitigating existing and future security risks based on industry standards (HIPAA, NIST, ISO, SANS, Critical Security Controls). Will also require expertise consulting with external clients regarding security platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviews, revises, develops, and implements security policies, procedures, and standards
  • Manages programs to protect corporate facilities, property, and employees.
  • Develops and administers security policies and procedures, along with supporting documentation
  • Assists and advises all company departments regarding security regulations, policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Ensure organization maintains security requirements for HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC2, and PCI.
  • Management, monitoring and maintenance of information security devices such as encryption technology, Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Threat Detection tools, and SEIM tools
  • Manages and maintains centralized logging solution such as ElasticStack and Splunk
  • Creates and maintains reporting procedures for all security incidences.
  • Provide responses to customer security questionnaires and internal and external auditors regarding information security capabilities and controls
  • Supports large-scale deployments across multiple clients, products, and data centers
  • Develops and implements company-wide security education programs.
  • Remains up to date on current security standards while advising the organization of any regulatory changes that may affect product development.
  • Assists in development of technology policies, direction, and budget.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or relevant security certifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on technical experience designing, implementing, and supporting information security solutions in enterprise and cloud environments
  • CEH, Security +, Cisco security certifications GIAC highly desirable
  • Healthcare experience is a plus
  • Ability to perform patch management
  • Expert knowledge of security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, encryption, IAM, network and application vulnerability assessment.
  • Advanced understanding of information security principles and practices.
  • Experience working with HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC2, PCI preferred
  • Working knowledge of risk and security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g. NIST, ISO SANS Critical Security Controls)
  • Working knowledge of Linux, Mac and Windows server operating systems, web technologies, database systems, networking principles, access control methods, and security concepts.
  • Ability to automate tasks and interact with APIs using common scripting languages such as Python.
  • Familiar with open source tools such as nmap, Burp Suite, Wireshark, Chef/Puppet/Salt/Ansible.

Data Delivery Manager

Location: Jacksonville, FL

POSITION SUMMARY

Seasoned technical manager who provides leadership, vision and oversight to a team of high-performing Data Engineers working at scale. Partners with Product Management to create forward-looking roadmaps and coordinate work efforts. Works closely with the client delivery teams to facilitate timely and high-quality outcomes of Clearsense solutions to clients. Assists with prioritization and delegation of work efforts across the Data Engineers, including those assigned to delivery pods. Helps the team innovate through creative problem-solving. Pairs strong technical knowledge with excellent oral and written communication skills to break down complex concepts and promote broad understanding. Participates in business development activities to help identify, vet and progress strategic opportunities pertaining to new and existing clients. Contributes to the growth of the team’s technical and business acumen through training, coaching and mentoring. Leverages understanding of the technical data engineering workflows to identify opportunities for process improvements and technology utilization, both within and outside of the Data Engineering team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the Data Engineering team in delivering Clearsense solutions to our clients
  • Assist in the recruitment, hiring and retention of top Data Engineers
  • Provide day-to-day supervision and administrative support for the Data Engineering team
  • Manage a portfolio of internal and external projects
  • Support the pre-sales cycle, including but not limited to: demos, discovery sessions, RFI/RFP responses and estimates
  • Provide input to resource plans and budgets
  • Appropriately balance, prioritize and delegate the team’s work to deliver on commitments while avoiding burnout

Data Engineer

The Data Engineer will support the design and development of data workflows, ETL-like processes, SQL queries, and Visualizations of various clinical and non-clinical databases in the Clearsense Data Ecosystem. They must also demonstrate advanced analytical skills, technical and business knowledge and have a strong understanding of how to leverage industry standard tools and methods to solve problems. The Data Engineer will work closely with Software Engineers by providing data mapping and wrangling expertise and Data Scientists by helping to determine and provide data sets needed for analysis. They often wrestle with problems associated with database integration and messy, unstructured data sets. Their ultimate aim is to provide clean, usable data to whomever may require it.

Must have: SQL, scripting languages, ETL tools and Data workflow tools Responsibilities: 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research opportunities for data acquisition and new uses for existing data
  • Develop data set processes for data modeling, mining and production
  • Employ a variety of languages and tools (e.g. scripting languages) to merge data together
  • Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality
  • Define and Develop Clearsense Data Governance Policies
  • Aggregate and analyze various data sets to provide actionable insight
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and tools for business-users

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have 5+ years within a data management role performing implementation, integration and/or technical development, with a heavy focus on SQL and relational databases
  • A nice to have is prior use of Data Governance tools and processes
  • A nice to have background would involve knowledge and experience with healthcare data exchange platforms and data aggregation tools and healthcare interoperability and messaging standards, including but not limited to HL7 2.x, HL7 3.x, HL7 FHIR, IHE integration profiles
  • A nice to have background would be an understanding of general medical terminology and healthcare clinical code sets such as LOINC, CPT, ICD, RxNorm, etc.
  • A nice to have background would be a demonstrated advanced knowledge in Healthcare data, HL7 scripting and two or more programming languages, Healthcare operations, process improvement, and application of technology to improve patient outcomes.
  • A nice to have background would be as a highly skilled and proficient knowledge of and experience with build tools of the electronic medical record, and other clinical systems.
